Description

A delicious and customizable grilled veggie burger build bar that allows you to create your perfect bite with a variety of toppings and sauces.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup cooked quinoa
  • 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1/2 cup corn kernels
  • 1/2 cup diced bell peppers
  • 1/4 cup chopped onions
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for grilling
  • Burger buns
  • Assorted toppings (lettuce, tomato, avocado, pickles, etc.)
  • Condiments (ketchup, mustard, mayo, etc.)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mash the black beans with a fork until mostly smooth.
  2. Add cooked quinoa, corn, bell peppers, onions, breadcrumbs, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into patties.
  4. Heat olive oil in a grill pan over medium heat.
  5. Grill the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
  6. Toast the burger buns on the grill for a minute.
  7. Assemble your burger with your choice of toppings and condiments.

  • Feel free to customize the toppings based on your preferences.
  • These patties can be made ahead of time and frozen for later use.
