Ingredients

  • 3 ripe avocados
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 tomatoes, diced
  • 1 jalapeño, minced
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 cups diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup red onion, diced
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a bowl.
  2. Add lime juice, diced onion, tomatoes, jalapeño, cilantro, and salt to the bowl.
  3. Mash the ingredients together until you reach your desired consistency.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine diced tomatoes, red onion, lime juice, cilantro, cumin, garlic powder, and salt to make the salsa.
