- 12 Hawaiian rolls
- 6 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 cup mixed fresh berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
- Powdered sugar for serving (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Cut the Hawaiian rolls in half and place them in the baking dish.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, heavy cream, sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.
- Pour the egg mixture evenly over the rolls, ensuring they are well soaked.
- Sprinkle the mixed berries on top of the rolls.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the center is set.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Dust with powdered sugar if desired.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use whole milk instead of low-fat milk.
- Feel free to substitute the mixed berries with your favorite fruits.
