A refreshing and vibrant iced tea made from hibiscus flowers, perfect for summer sipping.
Ingredients

- 2 cups dried hibiscus flowers
- 8 cups water
- 1 cup sugar (or to taste)
- 1/2 cup fresh lime juice
- Ice cubes
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Boil 8 cups of water in a large pot.
- Add the dried hibiscus flowers to the boiling water and let it steep for about 15-20 minutes.
- Strain the mixture to remove the hibiscus flowers.
- Add sugar to the hot hibiscus tea and stir until dissolved.
- Let the tea cool to room temperature, then stir in the fresh lime juice.
- Refrigerate the tea until chilled.
- Serve over ice and garnish with fresh mint leaves.
Notes
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar according to your taste.
- This drink can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator.
- For a twist, add slices of fresh fruit like oranges or berries.
