Description

A refreshing and vibrant iced tea made from hibiscus flowers, perfect for summer sipping.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups dried hibiscus flowers
  • 8 cups water
  • 1 cup sugar (or to taste)
  • 1/2 cup fresh lime juice
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Boil 8 cups of water in a large pot.
  2. Add the dried hibiscus flowers to the boiling water and let it steep for about 15-20 minutes.
  3. Strain the mixture to remove the hibiscus flowers.
  4. Add sugar to the hot hibiscus tea and stir until dissolved.
  5. Let the tea cool to room temperature, then stir in the fresh lime juice.
  6. Refrigerate the tea until chilled.
  7. Serve over ice and garnish with fresh mint leaves.

Notes

  • Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar according to your taste.
  • This drink can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator.
