- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 2 cups cooked rice
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, green onions, egg, and minced garlic. Mix well and form into meatballs.
- Place meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes or until cooked through.
- In a saucepan, combine soy sauce, honey, and rice vinegar. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes.
- Once meatballs are cooked, toss them in the honey garlic sauce.
- Serve meatballs over cooked rice and garnish with sesame seeds.
Notes
- Feel free to add vegetables like broccoli or bell peppers for extra nutrition.
- For a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes to the sauce.
- These meatballs can be made ahead and frozen for later use.
