Description

Honey Garlic Meatball Rice Bowls are a delicious and easy-to-make dish featuring savory meatballs coated in a sweet and tangy honey garlic sauce, served over a bed of rice.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, green onions, egg, and minced garlic. Mix well and form into meatballs.
  3. Place meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes or until cooked through.
  4. In a saucepan, combine soy sauce, honey, and rice vinegar. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes.
  5. Once meatballs are cooked, toss them in the honey garlic sauce.
  6. Serve meatballs over cooked rice and garnish with sesame seeds.
