Ingredients

- 4 cups water
- 4 black tea bags
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 4 cups cold water
- Ice cubes
- Lemon slices for garnish
Instructions
- Boil 4 cups of water in a pot.
- Add the black tea bags and steep for 5 minutes.
- Remove the tea bags and stir in the granulated sugar until dissolved.
- Let the tea cool to room temperature.
- In a pitcher, combine the cooled tea, freshly squeezed lemon juice, and 4 cups of cold water.
- Stir well and refrigerate until chilled.
- Serve over ice and garnish with lemon slices.
Notes
- Adjust the sugar to taste if you prefer a sweeter or less sweet drink.
- For a stronger tea flavor, steep the tea bags for a few extra minutes.
