Ingredients

- 2 cups fresh cherries, pitted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- 1 pre-made pie crust
- 1 tablespoon butter, cut into small pieces
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cherries, sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, vanilla extract, and almond extract.
- Pour the cherry mixture into the pie crust and dot with butter.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the filling is bubbly and the crust is golden brown.
- Allow to cool before serving.
Notes
