Description
Deliciously sweet rolls filled with cranberry and orange flavors, perfect for breakfast or dessert.
Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/4 cup fresh orange juice
- 1 tablespoon orange zest
- 1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) active dry yeast
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup fresh cranberries, chopped
- 1 egg
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine warm milk and yeast; let it sit for 5 minutes.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt.
- Add melted butter, orange juice, orange zest, and egg to the flour mixture.
- Pour in the yeast mixture and mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Roll out the dough and spread chopped cranberries evenly over it.
- Roll the dough tightly and cut into slices.
- Place the slices in a greased baking dish and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- For a sweeter roll, add a glaze made of powdered sugar and orange juice on top.
- Can substitute dried cranberries if fresh are not available.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
