Deliciously sweet candied cranberries that add a festive touch to your holiday table.
Ingredients

- 2 cups fresh cranberries
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine water and sugar over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
- Add cranberries to the saucepan and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes until cranberries burst.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
- Using a slotted spoon, transfer cranberries to a wire rack to cool and dry.
- Once dried, roll cranberries in additional sugar if desired.
- Let them sit for at least an hour before serving.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
- These can be used as a garnish for desserts or salads.
- Adjust the sugar to taste for a sweeter or less sweet version.
