- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 2 green onions, sliced
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger.
- Add ground beef to the marinade and let it sit for 15 minutes.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the marinated beef until browned.
- Steam broccoli and carrots until tender.
- Serve the cooked beef over rice, topped with steamed vegetables and green onions.
- Garnish with sesame seeds before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the marinade.
- Feel free to substitute the vegetables with your favorites.
