Description

Loaded Deviled Eggs are a delicious twist on the classic appetizer, packed with flavor and perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup crumbled bacon
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped chives
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Hard boil the eggs by placing them in a pot of water and bringing it to a boil. Once boiling, cover and remove from heat, letting them sit for 12 minutes.
  2. Cool the eggs in ice water, then peel and slice them in half lengthwise.
  3. Remove the yolks and place them in a bowl. Mash the yolks with mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  4. Stir in crumbled bacon, shredded cheddar cheese, and chopped chives into the yolk mixture.
  5. Fill the egg whites with the yolk mixture using a spoon or piping bag.
  6. Garnish with additional chives or bacon if desired and serve chilled.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add a dash of hot sauce to the yolk mixture.
  • These can be made a day in advance; just keep them covered in the refrigerator.
  • Experiment with different toppings like jalapeños or pickles for added flavor.
