- 1 pound of chicken tenders
- 1 cup of buttermilk
- 1 cup of all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon of paprika
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1/4 cup of maple syrup
- 12 mini waffles
- Cooking oil for frying
Instructions
- Marinate the chicken tenders in buttermilk for at least 1 hour.
- In a bowl, mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Dredge the marinated chicken in the flour mixture and fry until golden brown and cooked through.
- Toast the mini waffles until crispy.
- Assemble the sliders by placing a piece of fried chicken between two mini waffles.
- Drizzle with maple syrup before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add cayenne pepper to the flour mixture.
