- 1 pre-made pie crust
- 2 cups mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- 1 tablespoon milk (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out the pie crust on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix the berries, sugar, cornstarch, and vanilla extract.
- Pour the berry mixture onto the center of the pie crust, leaving a border around the edges.
- Fold the edges of the crust over the berries, pleating as necessary.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the egg and milk, then brush the mixture over the crust.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
