Description

Delicious and easy-to-make brownie ice cream sandwiches that require only one bowl for preparation.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 pint of your favorite ice cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together cocoa powder, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and melted butter until well combined.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add flour and salt, mixing until just combined.
  5. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  7. Allow brownies to cool completely in the pan.
  8. Once cooled, cut brownies into squares and sandwich a scoop of ice cream between two brownie squares.
  9. Serve immediately or freeze for later enjoyment.
