- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 pint of your favorite ice cream
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mix together cocoa powder, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and melted butter until well combined.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in vanilla extract.
- Gradually add flour and salt, mixing until just combined.
- Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Allow brownies to cool completely in the pan.
- Once cooled, cut brownies into squares and sandwich a scoop of ice cream between two brownie squares.
- Serve immediately or freeze for later enjoyment.
Notes
- Feel free to use any flavor of ice cream you prefer.
- For a fun twist, add chocolate chips or nuts to the brownie batter.
- Store any leftovers in the freezer for up to a week.
