Deliciously tender and flavorful St. Louis ribs cooked in the oven and finished on the grill for a perfect BBQ experience.

- 2 racks St. Louis ribs
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
- Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs.
- In a bowl, mix together brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper.
- Rub the spice mixture all over the ribs.
- Wrap the ribs tightly in aluminum foil and place them on a baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Remove the ribs from the oven and unwrap them carefully.
- Brush BBQ sauce generously over the ribs.
- Grill the ribs for about 5-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until the sauce is caramelized.
- Remove from the grill, let rest for a few minutes, then slice and serve.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the ribs overnight with the spice rub.
- Adjust the level of cayenne pepper based on your spice preference.
- Use your favorite BBQ sauce for a personalized touch.
