Description

Deliciously tender and flavorful St. Louis ribs cooked in the oven and finished on the grill for a perfect BBQ experience.


Ingredients

  • 2 racks St. Louis ribs
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs.
  3. In a bowl, mix together brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper.
  4. Rub the spice mixture all over the ribs.
  5. Wrap the ribs tightly in aluminum foil and place them on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours.
  7. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  8. Remove the ribs from the oven and unwrap them carefully.
  9. Brush BBQ sauce generously over the ribs.
  10. Grill the ribs for about 5-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until the sauce is caramelized.
  11. Remove from the grill, let rest for a few minutes, then slice and serve.

  • For extra flavor, marinate the ribs overnight with the spice rub.
  • Adjust the level of cayenne pepper based on your spice preference.
