Description

Ingredients

  • 3 cups fresh peaches, peeled and chopped
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the chopped peaches and sugar. Let it sit for about 30 minutes to allow the peaches to release their juices.
  2. Add the lemon juice to the peach mixture and stir well.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a saucepan and cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until it comes to a boil.
  4. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 20-25 minutes, or until the mixture thickens to your desired consistency.
  5. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly before transferring to sterilized jars.
  6. Allow the jam to cool completely before sealing the jars and storing them in the refrigerator.
