Description

A refreshing summer drink made with sweet tea, fresh peaches, and mint.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups water
  • 4 black tea bags
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 ripe peaches, sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Boil 4 cups of water in a pot.
  2. Add the tea bags and let steep for 5 minutes.
  3. Remove the tea bags and stir in the sugar until dissolved.
  4. Add the sliced peaches and mint leaves to the tea.
  5. Let the mixture cool to room temperature.
  6. Strain the tea into a pitcher, discarding the solids.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
  8. Serve over ice and garnish with additional mint leaves if desired.

Notes

  • For a stronger peach flavor, blend some of the peaches into a puree before adding.
  • Adjust the sugar to taste based on your preference for sweetness.
  • This drink can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator.
