Description
A refreshing summer drink made with sweet tea, fresh peaches, and mint.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 cups water
- 4 black tea bags
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 ripe peaches, sliced
- 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- Boil 4 cups of water in a pot.
- Add the tea bags and let steep for 5 minutes.
- Remove the tea bags and stir in the sugar until dissolved.
- Add the sliced peaches and mint leaves to the tea.
- Let the mixture cool to room temperature.
- Strain the tea into a pitcher, discarding the solids.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
- Serve over ice and garnish with additional mint leaves if desired.
Notes
- For a stronger peach flavor, blend some of the peaches into a puree before adding.
- Adjust the sugar to taste based on your preference for sweetness.
- This drink can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator.
