Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large bell peppers
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the onions and mushrooms until softened.
  4. Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  5. Stir in half of the provolone cheese until melted.
  6. Stuff the mixture into the bell peppers and place them in a baking dish.
  7. Top each stuffed pepper with the remaining provolone cheese.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until the peppers are tender and the cheese is bubbly.
