Description

These Protein-Packed Chicken Tenders are a healthy and crispy alternative to traditional fried chicken, perfect for a guilt-free snack or meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into strips
  • 1 cup whole wheat breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the whole wheat breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dip each chicken strip into the beaten eggs, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Place the coated chicken tenders on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Spray the tenders lightly with cooking spray.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through, flipping halfway.
