Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine the chopped dried figs and water.
- Bring to a boil over medium heat, then reduce to a simmer.
- Add the sugar and lemon juice, stirring until the sugar is dissolved.
- Continue to simmer for about 20-25 minutes, or until the mixture thickens.
- Remove from heat and let cool before transferring to a jar.
