Description

A delicious and festive no-bake cheesecake perfect for celebrating the 4th of July with a patriotic flair.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • Red and blue food coloring (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter, then press into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat together cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  3. Add vanilla extract and mix until combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form, then fold into the cream cheese mixture.
  5. Divide the mixture into three bowls. Leave one bowl plain, add red food coloring to the second, and blue food coloring to the third.
  6. Spread the plain mixture over the crust, followed by the red mixture, and then the blue mixture, smoothing each layer.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
  8. Top with fresh strawberries and blueberries before serving.

Notes

  • For a firmer cheesecake, refrigerate overnight.
  • Feel free to use other berries for decoration.
  • Make sure the cream cheese is at room temperature for easier mixing.
