A delicious and savory side dish featuring Brussels sprouts sautéed with crispy bacon, crunchy pecans, and sweet cranberries, perfect for Thanksgiving.

- 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 4 slices of bacon, chopped
- 1/2 cup pecans, chopped
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large skillet, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the Brussels sprouts and sauté in the bacon fat for about 5-7 minutes until they start to brown.
- Add the olive oil, pecans, and cranberries to the skillet, and season with salt and pepper.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until the Brussels sprouts are tender.
- Stir in the crispy bacon before serving.
Notes
- For a vegetarian version, omit the bacon and use olive oil for sautéing.
- Feel free to add other nuts or dried fruits as desired.
- This dish can be made ahead of time and reheated before serving.
