- 4 large potatoes, thinly sliced
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
Instructions
- Layer half of the sliced potatoes in the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Sprinkle half of the cheese, onion, and garlic over the potatoes.
- In a bowl, mix together the heavy cream, milk, salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Pour half of the cream mixture over the layered potatoes.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining potatoes, cheese, onion, garlic, and cream mixture.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the potatoes are tender.
- Serve hot and enjoy your cheesy scalloped potatoes!
Notes
- For extra flavor, add cooked bacon or ham between the layers.
- Make sure to slice the potatoes evenly for consistent cooking.
