Description

A delicious and easy recipe for cheesy scalloped potatoes made in a slow cooker, perfect for a comforting dinner.


Ingredients

  • 4 large potatoes, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  1. Layer half of the sliced potatoes in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  2. Sprinkle half of the cheese, onion, and garlic over the potatoes.
  3. In a bowl, mix together the heavy cream, milk, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  4. Pour half of the cream mixture over the layered potatoes.
  5. Repeat the layers with the remaining potatoes, cheese, onion, garlic, and cream mixture.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the potatoes are tender.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy your cheesy scalloped potatoes!

  • For extra flavor, add cooked bacon or ham between the layers.
