- 2 large onions, thinly sliced
- 2 cups beef broth

- 1 cup shredded Gruyère cheese
Instructions
- Place the sliced onions at the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and thyme, then place them on top of the onions.
- In a bowl, mix together the beef broth, French onion soup, and Worcestershire sauce, then pour it over the chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
- About 15 minutes before serving, sprinkle the shredded Gruyère cheese on top and cover until melted.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
