- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 large onion, thinly sliced
- 4 slider buns
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Cheese slices (optional)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and add the sliced onions.
- Cook the onions, stirring occasionally, until they are caramelized, about 15-20 minutes.
- While the onions are cooking, form the ground beef into small balls.
- In a separate skillet, heat over medium-high heat and place the beef balls in the skillet.
- Smash the beef balls down with a spatula to form patties and season with salt and pepper.
- Cook for about 2-3 minutes on one side, then flip and add cheese if desired.
- Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the burgers are cooked through.
- Assemble the sliders by placing the patties on the buns and topping with caramelized onions.
