Description

Delicious smash burgers grilled to perfection with crispy edges and melted cheese, ready in just 10 minutes.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
  • 4 slices of cheese (American or cheddar)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 burger buns
  • Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, pickles, onions, ketchup, mustard

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to high heat.
  2. Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions.
  3. Form each portion into a loose ball without compacting it.
  4. Place the beef balls on the grill and smash them down with a spatula to form patties.
  5. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Cook for about 2-3 minutes until the edges are crispy.
  7. Flip the patties and place a slice of cheese on each one.
  8. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until the cheese is melted.
  9. Toast the burger buns on the grill for about 1 minute.
  10. Assemble the burgers with your choice of toppings and serve immediately.
