- 4 lbs beef brisket
- 2 cups tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons smoked paprika
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C).
- In a bowl, mix together the tomato sauce, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper to create the BBQ sauce.
- Rub the brisket with salt and pepper, then place it in the smoker.
- Smoke the brisket for about 6-8 hours, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 195°F (90°C).
- During the last hour of smoking, brush the brisket with the BBQ sauce.
- Remove the brisket from the smoker and let it rest for 30 minutes before slicing.
- Serve with additional BBQ sauce on the side.

- Letting the brisket rest is crucial for juicy slices.
