- 1 lb chicken breast, sliced
- 2 tablespoons gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 2 green onions, sliced
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix gochujang, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger to create the marinade.
- Add the sliced chicken to the marinade and let it sit for at least 30 minutes.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the marinated chicken until fully cooked and slightly caramelized.
- In another pot, steam the broccoli and carrots until tender.
- To assemble, place cooked rice in bowls, top with the chicken, steamed vegetables, and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
Notes
- Adjust the level of spiciness by adding more or less gochujang.
- Feel free to add other vegetables like bell peppers or snap peas.
