Description
Strawberry Basil Lemonade is a refreshing spring drink that combines the sweetness of strawberries with the aromatic flavor of basil, making it a perfect thirst-quencher for warm days.

- 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves
- 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 cups water
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- In a blender, combine the strawberries and basil leaves. Blend until smooth.
- In a saucepan, combine sugar and 1 cup of water. Heat over medium heat until the sugar dissolves completely.
- In a large pitcher, combine the strawberry-basil mixture, lemon juice, and the sugar syrup.
- Add the remaining 3 cups of water to the pitcher and stir well.
- Serve over ice and garnish with additional basil leaves or strawberry slices if desired.
Notes
- For a less sweet version, reduce the amount of sugar.
- This drink can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator.
