Instructions

- In another bowl, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
- In jars, layer the crumbled shortcake, followed by a layer of strawberries, and then a layer of whipped cream.
- Repeat the layers until the jars are filled, finishing with whipped cream on top.
- Garnish with additional strawberries if desired and serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.

- For a lighter version, you can use Greek yogurt instead of whipped cream.
