- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 cup olive oil
- 2–3 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together the egg yolk, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice until well combined.
- Slowly drizzle in the olive oil while continuously whisking to emulsify the mixture.
- Add the minced garlic and salt, and mix until fully incorporated.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
- Serve immediately or refrigerate for later use.
Notes
- Make sure all ingredients are at room temperature for better emulsification.
- For a stronger garlic flavor, add more minced garlic.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
